Introduction-
Elvish Yadav hails from Gurugram, Haryana.
Initially, he was named as Siddharth but later he was renamed to Elvish Yadav.
He was known as Siddharth only until his kindergarten.
His father works as a lecturer.
Elvish Yadav has a sister.
Education-
Elvish Yadav was an average student in the school.
In 2015, he wanted an Apple iPhone 6 and so he requested his father to buy him one.
And his father agreed to buy Elvish Yadav an iPhone 6 on the condition that he must score above 90 percent in his 12th standard.
So, he studied hard and scored 94% in his 12th standard.
After completing his schooling, Elvish Yadav studied at Hansraj College.
Creating videos-
In 2016 while in his first year of college, Elvish Yadav saw some videos of Harsh Beniwal, Bhuvan Bam and Ashish Chanchlani on Instagram.
Then he realised that he too can make those kinds of videos and from May 2016, he started making videos and posting them on Instagram.
Initially, Elvish Yadav copied a gym video of Ashish Chanchlani.
He used to publish small vine videos on Instagram.
Initially, Elvish Yadav made the videos with his phone and his mother and friends helped him as cameramen.
Struggles-
Even though Elvish Yadav worked for a year and half and published videos on Instagram, he couldn’t succeed.
During that time, his parents wanted him to prepare for a government job.
Elvish Yadav’s father wanted him to take Indian Administrative Service (IAS) coaching and attend Civil Services Examination and get a government job.
But he continued creating videos.
Moving to Facebook-
As Elvish Yadav couldn’t succeed on Instagram, he shifted to Facebook and started posting videos here.
Here also he didn’t get a good response and only one of his videos got a little popular.
Starting a YouTube channel-
During that time, one of his friends suggested Elvish Yadav to start a YouTube channel and upload videos on it and he also told him about the scope of monetisation on YouTube.
So, on April 29, 2016, he created a YouTube channel by the name, Elvish yadav.
Luckily, some of his Facebook followers also subscribed to Elvish Yadav’s YouTube channel.
During that time, pranks were very popular on YouTube and so, he also started creating prank videos and he thought of becoming a prankster.
After publishing three prank videos, Elvish Yadav decided to stop creating prank videos because he didn’t get decent views on those videos.
Wanting to quit-
During that time, Elvish Yadav was creating videos in Hindi and wasn’t getting good response.
Even after working for one year on his YouTube channel, he was getting only little views on his videos.
So, at that time Elvish Yadav decided to quit working on YouTube.
But his friend Avneet Singh didn’t allow him to quit at that moment and requested him to create one last video and then, decide whether to continue or quit.
Getting successful–
So, Elvish Yadav and Avneet Singh immediately came up with an idea for creating a video titled- GOOD FRIEND VS BEST FRIEND(after breakup) and they decided to create this video in Haryanvi language instead of Hindi.
Fortunately, this video became viral and he never looked back again.
And now, Elvish Yadav’s parents are also fully supportive of his YouTube career.
Currently, his Elvish yadav YouTube channel has more than 8 million subscribers.
Starting Elvish Yadav Vlogs-
On November 23, 2019, Elvish Yadav started his second YouTube channel by the name, Elvish Yadav Vlogs.
Here, he uploads roasting and vlogging videos.
Currently, this YouTube channel has more than 2 million subscribers.

- Initially, Elvish Yadav posted his videos also on TikTok.
- He collaborated with Amit Bhadana in a video.
- Elvish Yadav’s favourite YouTubers are Dino James, Harsh Beniwal, Ashish Chanchlani and Amit Bhadana.
- While studying in school, he joined a cricket academy and played cricket until his seventh grade.
- Elvish Yadav’s future plans are to act in Bollywood movies and in web series.
