Sahil Khan was born on 5 November 1976 in Kolkata, West Bengal.
His father is a Muslim whereas his mother is Chinese.
Sahil Khan did his schooling from Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
He got admitted into this school in 1987.
Attracted to fitness at a young age–
At 13, Sahil Khan joined a gym in Kolkata and during that time he was frail and underweight.
His first coach was Manohar Aich.
Manohar Aich was a popular Indian bodybuilder and won a Mr. Universe title.
As Sahil Khan’s father was also into fitness and bodybuilding, he used to purchase Flex magazines and Sahil Khan used to treasure many Flex magazines.
During that time he was playing football and as he was fit, the football teams used to cajole him to join their respective teams.
Wanting to become a boxer-
At that time, Sahil Khan saw the Rocky IV film of Sylvester Stallone and wanted to become a boxer.
Soon, he realised the difficulties of becoming a boxer and dropped his plan of becoming a boxer.
Later, Sahil Khan got inspired by the physiques of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan and also got motivated by the Flex magazines and decided to become a bodybuilder.
Moving to Mumbai-
In 1994, Sahil Khan moved to Mumbai with a dream of becoming Mr.Mumbai and also in hope of getting better training.
Initially, he used to workout in a small gym in Jogeshwari and got coached by Sachin Dandekar.
Acting in a music video-
Sanjay F. Gupta, a cinematographer, used to also workout in the same gym as Sahil Khan.
Here, he noticed Sahil Khan and offered him a chance to act in his music video of Stereo Nation, Nachenge Sari Raat.
So, he acted in his first ever video song.
This song became very popular.
N. Chandra, an Indian producer saw Nachenge Sari Raat video and wanted to cast Sahil Khan in his movie.
So, he contacted him through Sanjay F. Gupta.
And thanks to Sahil Khan’s physique, he got selected to act in the Style film.
This was a cult film and was released on 28 December 2001.
This film became a hit.
Later, Sahil Khan also acted in Xcuse Me film.
Xcuse Me was released on 26 September 2003 and became a hit.

- Ramaa: The Saviour
Sahil Khan was one of the producers of the Ramaa: The Saviour film and he was very pained to see this movie getting flopped.
After this failure, he realised that he wasn’t a trained, talented and experienced actor and he quit acting in films.
Another reason for Sahil Khan to quit was he only got a handful films in the span of many years and even those films couldn’t perform well.
Later, even when he got some opportunities to act in films, he rejected all of them.
Maintaining his physique-
Many people suggested Sahil Khan to lose his bulkiness in order to get more Bollywood chances.
But as he was in love with his body, he decided to maintain his physique.
And this later helped Sahil Khan to become a fitness icon.
On April 28, 2017, he started a YouTube channel by his name.
Becoming an entrepreneur-
In 2014, Sahil Khan started online training.
Later, he shifted from Mumbai to Goa to open Muscle ‘n’ Beach Gym at Baga Beach in February 2016.
This is India’s first beach gym and Sahil Khan also has a resort in Goa.
Previously, he endorsed BigMuscles Nutrition.
In 2018, Sahil Khan started MYFITNESS peanut butter brand.
He also started Real Mix Energy Drink.
Later, Sahil Khan also opened HUNK Water Factory and he operates the LIFE FITNESS chain of gyms.
He also started a supplement brand, Divine Nutrition.
All these businesses made him rich.
Currently, Sahil Khan lives in Mumbai.
