She has 769K subscribers on her eponymous YouTube channel.

Nikki is also a hiker, adventurer and outdoorswoman and was a model and a cheerleader.

Introduction-

Nikki Delventhal was born on 5 January 1989 in Fairfield, Connecticut, United States.

She grew up in Connecticut.

Her mother’s name is Cynthia Delventhal and her father’s name is Dan Delventhal.

Her father is the founder and CEO of MowGreen.

Nikki has two sisters, Kayla Danielle and Shoshanna Raven.

Education-

At 17, Nikki graduated from high school and decided not to continue her education further.

Instead, she decided to follow her passions and explore various fields.

Career-

Nikki has been working since 15 and thanks to this, she has a good savings account buffer.

After completing her high school, she attended a hair school in Florida.

In 2009, Nikki secured a job as a hairstylist at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger Salon in New York.

While working here, she got a chance to meet Kate Hudson and her family.

Even while working as a hairstylist, Nikki used to practice cheerleading routines at nights as she wanted to change her career and become a professional cheerleader.

Working as a hairstylist wasn’t sustainable for her.

Working as a Cheerleader-

In 2009, Nikki couldn’t get selected into a cheerleading audition but luckily, in 2010, she got selected as a Professional Cheerleader at United Football League in Hartford, Connecticut.

After getting selected as a cheerleader, she quit her job at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger Salon.

In 2011, Nikki got selected as a Flight Crew Cheerleader at New York Jets at Florham Park, New Jersey and worked here until 2013.

She also worked as a fitness instructor.

Working as a model-

As Nikki wanted to become famous, she also worked as a model.

From 2011 to 2014, she worked as a model at Wilhelmina Models in New York.

Nikki worked in the fitness and lifestyle division of Wilhelmina Models and here, she worked with many famous brands like Pepsi, Adidas, Tostitos, Perdue chicken, etc.

She also stood as a first runner up in the 2013 Miss Connecticut USA.

Nikki also got featured on the cover of the Woman’s World magazine dated 24 February 2014.

While working as a model, she realised that her entire modelling career is based on her looks and this stressed her.

As a consequence, Nikki developed an eating disorder and started putting on weight.

And thanks to this, she lost a few opportunities and also started receiving negative feedback from some of her clients.

All these things made her end her modelling career.

Appearing in The Bachelor–

After quitting working as a model, Nikki took a position and appeared on The Bachelor (American season 19).

She hoped that appearing on this show with cameras recording her life would force her to abandon her eating disorder but as she couldn’t overcome her eating disorder, she quit the show.

Nikki even received inpatient and outpatient treatment, therapies, etc. but nothing helped her to overcome her eating disorder.

Then, from 2015 to 2016, she worked as an Instructor at SoulCycle in New York.

Travelling the world-

In 2016, Nikki secured a job of Program Specialist and Trip Director at Travel For Teens, a travel agency.

Here, she started working as a tour guide and leading teen tours.

Thanks to this job, Nikki got a chance to visit many countries like Australia, New Zealand, etc. and she realised her passion for travelling and different cultures.

Living in a car-

While working as a tour guide, Nikki stayed back for a couple of months in Australia and during that time, she rented a car and lived in it.

She really enjoyed living in the car and during that time, she hiked the east coast of Australia.

Later, as a part of her job, Nikki visited many places in the United States and also travelled to countries like Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Scotland, Paris, France, Rome, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, etc.

Living full-time in a Toyota Prius-

In 2020, Nikki returned to the United States after completing her trip to Qatar, India, Sri Lanka, and Maldives but she wasn’t allowed to live in her apartment due to the COVID-19 fear.

So, she thought of realising her dream of living in a vehicle and started living in her Toyota Prius car.

Nikki lived full-time in her car and she has been a fan of this lifestyle thanks to the simplicity, freedom and mobility.

She explored the nature of the Americas in her 2006 Toyota Prius along with her dog, Camper.

After living in the Prius for three years, from September 2022, Nikki lived in a Toyota Tacoma truck camper for a few months and then rented a sprinter van.

Eva zu Beck is another famous travel YouTuber and she lives in a Land Rover Defender.

Her YouTube journey-

After spending a few months on the road, many people suggested Nikki to document her life on YouTube.

So, from 18 August 2020, she has been publishing videos on her eponymous YouTube channel.

Nikki funds her travel by her channel’s income, her savings and receiving donations and sponsorships and working as a tour guide.

As of December 2023, she has 769K subscribers on her YouTube channel.
