Getting scammed-

Unfortunately, all his money went into drain as the marketing firm was incompetent and wasn’t able to bring any traffic to Neil’s website.

So, Neil decided to learn marketing himself.

His first company-

In January 2002, Neil along with Hiten Shah, founded Advantage Consulting Services, Inc., a marketing agency in Cerritos, California.

Both of them hailed from non-technical backgrounds but this couldn’t stop them from starting a technology consulting firm.

Hiten Shah later married Neil Patel’s sister, Amee Shah.

Losing millions-

Neil founded Serph, a web hosting company in Rockwall, Texas.

He borrowed and invested $1 million into it but his other co-founders cheated him.

Neil was 21 at that time and had to work hard for one full year to repay $1 million.

Apart from this, he lost a few million U.S. Dollars a few times.

But thankfully, Neil recuperated all his losses thanks to his many successful ventures.
