Kristen Hanby is a popular prankster and YouTuber.

He has more than three million subscribers on his YouTube channel by the name Kristen Hanby.

Introduction-

Kristen Hanby was born on 8 March 1993 in Saint Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands, United Kingdom.

Jersey is a small island and has a small population.

His mother, Giselle Hanby brought him up as a single mother.

Kristen has two sisters, Bryony Ludlow and Natalie Hanby.

A difficult school life-

Kristen used to frequently get expelled from the class and during that time, many people used to opine that he couldn’t secure a job.

In his childhood, people suspected that he suffered from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder  (ADHD) but he never got tested for it.

Kristen used to get featured as a class clown in his school’s yearbook.

Love for pranks-

Initially, Kristen started off by pranking his sister and later when his grandmother started appearing in his videos, his videos started becoming popular.

Later, he started pranking his mother, girlfriend and other family members.

Initially, Kristen was posting his prank videos only on his Facebook profile and luckily, one of his videos became viral and then, his family and friends suggested he start a Facebook page.

So, on 1 July 2015, he created his Facebook page.

Carpenter & content creator-

Kristen was a qualified carpenter and worked on a building site for six years.

Later, he got bored of the daily work routine as a carpenter and around in 2015, one of his videos on Facebook received a million views overnight and at that time, he decided to become a full-time content creator.

Kristen quit his job when he made his first online income, he earned £50 by collaborating with a brand on Snapchat.

But his family wasn’t happy with him quitting his job because they felt that content creation wouldn’t be equivalent to a job.

Moving to the United States-

Around 2017, Kristen moved to San Francisco, United States.

Here, one of his fans invited him to live with him.

So, Kristen lived on his couch for around three months and during that time, he networked with people.

His YouTube channel-

Even though Kristen started his YouTube channel way back in 21 September 2011, he started working on it only from 2017.

Apart from prank videos, he also publishes music videos on the Kristen Hanby YouTube channel.

Kristen’s first music video is titled- Kristen Hanby – Got A Plan (Official Music Video) and it was uploaded on 1 November 2018.

Now, his family is fully supportive of him making videos and they regularly appear in his videos.

His mother, Jonathan, Lexi, Bryony, Natalie and his grandmother regularly appear in his videos.

Apart from his main channel, Kristen has three other YouTube channels namely, Hanby Clips,  The Hanby Family and  Girls VS Girls.

His future plan is to produce his own TV show.

• Kristen has more than 7 million followers on Instagram.
